David Johnson Obituary, man fighting leukemia has Died – Death

David Johnson Death, Obituary – Today was the day that I said my final goodbye to my dearest buddy. At the age of 73 and after a courageous fight against leukemia, David “Dave” Macculloch Johnson passed away on November 9th. He had been fighting the illness for close to a year at that point. After relocating to Palo Alto, California when he was a little child, his parents, Willard Barron Johnson and Marjorie Winter Johnson brought him up there. He is now an adult. It was on December 27th, 1948, in the town of Summit South, New Jersey, that he was born. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in business from Lewis & Clark College, David made the decision to return home to The Bay Area and Northern California.

The rest of his life was spent working as a food salesperson, a real estate agent, and then as a Real Estate/Personal Injury attorney. He spent his entire career working alongside Pamela Johnson, his wife, and paralegal, who he had been with since the beginning of his profession. Pamela Johnson is not just David’s sister but also his wife. He was a local politician in Cameron Park, serving as President of the Board of Directors for a period of twelve years and also holding the position of President of the El Dorado County Bar Association. He also served as President of the Board of Directors of the El Dorado County Bar Association.

It was important to him that Cameron Park become a distinct community in which people might dwell. One of the initiatives that he worked on or choreographed is the annual lighting of the community’s Christmas tree in Christa McAuliffe Park. This takes place in the park every year. The new Community Services District Center is yet another undertaking that he either participated in or directed personally. In his leisure time, Dave enjoyed participating in the game of cribbage, and he was good enough at it to bring home a number of boards and trophies from various tournaments he participated in.

Pamela Johnson, his wife of 42 years, survives him. Also, surviving is their son, David William Johnson, who is now 41 years old and lives in Las Vegas. Both Pamela and David William Johnson still call Cameron Park, California, home. His parents, his sister Susan Lanning, and his brother Willard Johnson all passed away before he did. His mother and father, as well as his sister and brother, all passed away before he was born. An announcement regarding a Memorial Service or a Celebration of Life will be made at a later time. If you are in a position to make a donation, the Leukemia Research Foundation, Inc. would be very grateful to receive it.
