Frank Pacitti  Death, Obituary – Frank Richard Pacitti, age 86, of Tavares, Florida, passed away on October 24, 2022, at the AdventHealth Waterman Hospital in Tavares. He was a resident of Tavares. He had spent his entire life in Tavares, where he was born and raised. On June 9, 1936, Frank Pacitti was brought into the world by his parents, Alfonso and Maria Pacitti. He was born in Jamestown, New York. Within his family, he was the eleventh and last child to be born. After graduating from Jamestown High School, he enlisted in the United States Army and spent a total of two years serving his country.

During this time, he was stationed in Germany. After that, he moved to Monroe, Michigan, where on August 25, 1962, he wed Janet Norine Smith and established a permanent residence there. They have been married for sixty-one years as of this past August, which marks the beginning of their anniversary year. At the time he opened Frank’s House of Style in Monroe in 1965, he already had a cosmetology license. At the time, he was in the beauty industry. He was finally successful in finding work with Guardian Glass Industries, and he remained there until the year 1998, when he took early retirement.

During this entire period, he remained actively employed at the Manheim Auto Auction on a part-time basis. Frank and Jan chose to raise their family in Monroe, Michigan because it was both of their hometowns. In addition to his membership in the Knights of Columbus, Frank was an active participant in the St. Mary Church community. The time that Frank was able to spend with his descendants, including his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was something that he treasured. During his younger years, he was enthusiastic in snowmobiles, automobiles, and handicrafts. In his later years, he developed a deep appreciation for outdoor activities, travel, and fishing.

In addition to giving his grandchildren their first haircuts, he delighted in giving them hand-crafted rocking horses and cradles that he had fashioned himself. Frank and Jan decided to make Tavares, Florida, their permanent home three years ago because they had such a good time spending their time in Florida during the winter months that they eventually made the decision to move there permanently. He is survived by his wife, Janet, as well as their four children: Rick (Gretchen) Pacitti of Maineville, Ohio, Denise Pacitti of Tavares, Florida, Michael Pacitti (Dianna) Pacitti of Washington Twp, Michigan, and Susan (Anthony) Stohlmeyer of Hudson, Ohio.
